What year is your 60's car ?

In our "What year is your car ?" survey we are trending to 3/4 at least in the 1960 decade. It will be interesting to see how that breaks out hence another survey. This one is ONLY for owners of 60's cars please.

If you own multiple cars we can allow surrogate voters BUT lets be honest about it. If you want someone to vote for you PM them and tell them what year to choose.

It's quite obvious Rog and his other brother Darryl have rigged this whole vote thing...

When I voted I checked off both the 65 and the 67 boxes....not sure if both were tallied or not. We have 2 65's and a 67 in the fleet.

Very surprised by the number of 64's.

I voted 67 as that's my Canadian built Acadian, but I also have 2 - 65 Canadian built Chev's.

How does someone see the results of the vote or tally? I am real curious about this. Ray when will the vote be taken for 1950's Pontiacs? My finger is itching to push on 1957. Cheers. George.

Hey George,

Just vote for 1965 for my Acadian and then you can see the results.  I had to vote 1967 for my Beaumont but I only get one vote.

Thanks,

Mike

In the original vote post, I voted 70' because of my Canadian built Lemans. This time the '68 GTO fit the bill.

Yup, what Mike said. For others find someone who has a few cars and needs a vote cast.

We will get to each decade. I'll give the 60's until Sunday night then add the 50"s.

Voted 1964, but at my age had to go out and check the registration first.

Ok, so I voted for 65 as my 65 is on the road.
But also have 64 SD under restoration.
Remember the poll is only for the year and doesn't breakdown by size.

Roger can rig it on his own. You have to admit Carl, '64 Pontiacs do rule!biggrin

Well, since Rog has some parts I want to buy, and I want to receive a warm welcome in PEI when I visit later on this year, I guess for now I will grudgingly concede......

Since '64s are currently in second place this would probably be a good time to ask:

Did anyone circuit race (not drag race please) Parisienne's in Canada in '64 or '65? If so does anyone have any pictures?

These results again reflect the registration at our Alberta Iron Indians Show & Shines from when I ran them 2004 - 2009.  While there was a sprinkling or early 60's cars (60 - 64), most of them were 65 - 69.    Possibly because the Pontiac line-up had expanded by the mid-late 60's to include a refined LeMans, the GTO, the Beaumonts & Acadians had split into their own lines, and the Firebird & had been introduced.
