When my wife was looking after her disabled parents, she devised a clever slip sheet that she would place on her parents bed. The sheet is made of a super slippery material that allow easy manoeuvring of the patient on the bed or to turn them to get them out of bed. Without such a sheet it was brutal on the back trying to move them. They also work well for getting a patient into a car seat, allowing user to spin and lift legs without binding friction between clothing and seat. Since she's not having much luck getting back into the job world after 6 years of caregiving she's decided to make and sell these sheets. They measure 35" wide X 36" long. She is offering them for $35 with free shipping in North America. Similar sheets sell for over $80 in medical supply stores. They are machine washable and quite durable.
