Found this in my stash of parts for the red L78 car...made in Canada PF-25 oil filter..has English and French plus embossed AC logo on the bottom..though it was kind of cool...enjoy..wilma
Any small block Chevy, at least up to the one piece rear seal changeover. After that, still fits some of them, it's hit and miss. It's just the short version of the PF35 that was the spin on that started in 1968.
I have an easy trivia question that applies to the PF25. I know a few of you will get it right away.
What was the original reason/application for the PF25?

Told ya it was too easy. Yup, 1964 Chevy II and Acadian V8.
Wouldn't the first use be on a 1962 chevy II 6cyl? Wasn't the 194 used in a 62 nova/chevyII/acadian?
I think the 6 cyl used the long filter though. It had tons of room. The V8 had to use the short one to clear the clutch for that runs from the Z bar to the fork.

And now there's one that's even shorter than the PF25 (which is discontinued). I get a kick out of the number they picked for the stubby little guy. It's a PF454!
