1970 Pontiac 2+2. Originally a 350 car but now has an original 454 LS5 drivetrain from a 1970 Safari waqgon. 3,000 miles on a completely rebuilt engine and transmission. Turbo 400 with 12 bolt rearend.Frame, floors and trunk are perfect. Original car from way out west. Power windows. Rare "air" option, uses fans to power air movement through kick panel vents. Rear defrost, AM-FM. Interior excellent, no rips or cracks in any seat. Original carb, alternator, distributor, 4 core Harrison rad, and air cleaner. New Michelins. Body very good with a few small blemishes. Car was factory red, someone has changed it to this burgundy-red.
I saw the car in 2002 when passing through London on my way to POCI Charleston WV. This was when he sold the Sierra Yellow (real 454) one to a guy I knew in New Jersey. If I recall, this car was up for sale last summer.
Dave is a member on here. Not sure he appreciates being referred to as "Dave the Dentist" though. We've featured his 69 427 4 speed 2+2 in the past. I was fortunate enough to have a tour of Dave's collection. He has some awesome cars!

No offence intended, I didn't think it was appropriate to use his last name.
Yes, this is the 454 from the "Red Rocket" Safari wagon that got parted out. I knew the owner of the Safari wagon (Shea) and wished he would have let me get it from him before he hit the guard rail. I also knew the original owners son, we were all in the TV industry.
