Looking to decode a 283 motor


Hi Guys I have a 283 complete motor made in Canada. The block number is 3731548 the stamped number is 9v79305. Heads are 3731554 hc and the crank is 3735236 Any help would be great

i cant seem to find out what year or car this 8.2 posi rearend came out of, i took the 10 bolt cover off and she's a posi with the S spring style, and the carrier bolt's are "get this" 3/4 bolts, i got these #s off the back of the pumkin 407296, and on the other side of that was #  BD and on pass axle tube was SB 0105, and these letters were beside a little wagon wheel looking thing - CFL 1 .but i cant find specs here's a pic with cover off ,please send info if you can thanks,

  And remember, the 3/4" head bolts are LEFT hand thread......... There should be an L stamped on there...

 Just for left hand thread! Left to tighten, right to loosen.... The spring is another way to tension the plates... Same difference as the 4 individual ones... Not sure of the years but have seen them is axles I disassembled... Some of the newer ones will have cones as well.

thanks for the reply, i can't see an "L" ant where just yet but  do you know anything about this rear ?, or what year / or car it may have been pulled from, i ran the #s i did find and still cant gather any info oh except that BD may be camaro related in which i did not think they were a coil spring car or 4 link, all i know is that its a 8.2 posi with the S type spring , i thought the older posi rear's were 4 spring's and plate's, and what gets me is these massive 3/4 carrier bolts, whats the deal on those, all i have heard is 7/16 / 3/8 or 9/16 not big kahoenah 3/4 bolts, im almost thinking im back to square because now im wondering can i put that 3/4 bolt 8.2 carrier in my 9/16 carrier housing ? i would be greatfull for some imput on this matter, thanks

i guess were all stumped, i dont know of any cars that came with an 8.2 posi 2:73 gears,because the older cars mostly had open 8.2 in them,and it cant be from somthing sporty in that era cause its got 2:73, and that you wont find in a Goat / 442 / so i wonder , not to mention the 3/4 head bolts ?
