That is an original Ontario plate from 1976, my 76 Firebird was KWU 913 and this one is KNA 062. Mine was white with the same interior combo, white with black accents. I always liked the look of the 76`s vs 75 and 77-81

Not too sure if this is the right place for a restoration project, but here it is. I bought this 76 T/A a few months ago, and I am looking to do full resto on it. It was originally a 400 4spd car but the motor and transmission are long gone, so I intend on building a 455 for it.
Thanks for posting pics. My buddy Eddie has one red with white interior. From Beachville Ont. Mine was red with tan interior. Dale Anderson of Anderson chev in woodstock owns it now
Nice project, I have a 75/76 SR ( service replacement) 455 that is complete, but needing a crank maybe , and a freshening.

my old 76.The bird was airbrushed to fact spec. Yeah that was a mullet. and I was 17....23 yrs ago. I hope your get your car done. Love to see more 76 on the road :)
