Ok guys just throwing this out there, I need a frame for my 64 chevelle convertible, I have found a guy that has many frames that are sandblasted and powder coated, most are converted el camino frames. Problem is to ship one frame truckers want around $2500, this fellow wants $1500 per frame which I think is not a bad deal. Just want to see if anyone else might be interested in one. I woul drive down and pick up and charge about $ 2000 per frame delivered to Calgary. There is a possibly I could also get them close to oysoyos for the same money. Any one interested at all?

Isnt an el Camino frame longer than a convertible frame?...or does this conversion include shortening it?

Whereabouts are you located? I am in B.C. and I am lucky if I can get a $100 bucks for a frame. It would have to be boxed but that isn't supposed to be that big of a deal. The last 64 frame I had was perfectly solid and I let it go to the crusher because I didn't have any room for it. Kelico might have one for sale in Vancouver but not sure what he would be asking for it. It also would have to be boxed.

Where do you live? If you're in southern BC, I might be able to locate one.

You might want to call Dave aka The Tim Man he is a sponsor on here , he's on the Van Island , he might have what you need and might be worth the drive from Oliver??
