1986 Parisienne Brougham: Florida Car

DSCN4712.JPGWell,  another "bucket list" ride has come along and it is time to move my favourite daily driver.  I purchased this car from the original owner a few years ago.  It was driven back and fourth to Florida when new and then the owner purchased a condo.  Then,  the car remained in Florida year round.  The owner sold the condo and had the car shipped back to Canada a year before I bought it.

The paint is tired and the vinyl top needs to be replaced.  The interior is spotless and had the headliner replaced.  The body,  frame,  floors are really nice ( the main reason I bought it).  The lips of the rear wheel wells are clean and strong around the fender skirts.  The front and rear bumpers are rust free.  Wheels are 15x7 rally with 235/60/15 Cooper Cobras.

It has a 305 with a 200r4 trans (150k).  Fully loaded with options.  Cruise control was recently fixed (thanks Carl S.!)  It has the F41 performance suspension but no posi.   The a/c needs to be charged.  It needs a muffler,  a brake job (parts included) and the front springs.  The front windshield has just started leaking across the top and will need to be resealed.

Asking $1000 or best offer without the wheels.  I also have some GM NOS parts for it as well.

I've got it listed on kijiji and the only interest I'm getting is for a "derby" car.  Good for parts or fix it and drive.

The colour and the interior are both burgandy. The rear "fillers" between the quarter panels and the rear bumper have been replaced with NOS GM peices.

Thanks Tom. I had no intentions of selling it. It is probably the best B body (condition wise) I have ever owned. The wheels did change the look drasticly from the old "rattle trap" spoked hubcaps. The only thing I regret was not painting it and putting on a new vinyl top.

I love those cars. They are well built cars, go forever, easy and cheap to fix when necessary.

Same problem here, how many cars can a guy own...

Had the 66 since about 83 and the 65 since 88.
Both still require a lot of work.

Already got one ... but if it doesn't make it all the way back from Detroit this weekend , you may be getting a call. That still has the q-jet, doesn't it?

I think first year for the 305 TBI B body is 1988 so it must be.

I'm still hoping that K-bec is going to get back to me with a response about propane conversion. For a gov't that charges a carbon tax .. they're awful hard to get an answer from.
