I'M WONDERING IF ANYONE KNOWS IF THE '73 LAURENTIAN IS A CANADIAN ONLY CAR/IF IT SHOULD HAVE A CHEVY 350 OR PONTIAC?
ALWAYS WANTED A CANADIAN ONLY PONTIAC, SEEMS LIKE I FOUND A GOOD ONE, MAYBE, BUT CAN'T GO LOOK AT IT FOR A FEW DAYS. ANYBODY KNOW WHAT SHOULD BE IN THE CAR?
THANKS, DAVE.

At that time I lived in town. We owned the farmyard hear but hadn't built our house yet but I was starting to move cars and parts out here from various locations I had been storing them at. I had the trunk and back seat of that Laurentian filled with heavy stuff, blocks, heads, cranks, whatever making that boat brutally heavy. I drove the car out here and when I got here, just for fun I did maybe a 3 grand neutral drop! All I got was a big bang, it didn't even spin! I sheared the rear joint right off!!!

Thanks for the info. I thought that maybe after '70 (auto trade pact gone) they might have been putting u.s. engines in them. Cool they were still Canadian models. Dave.
