Does anyone know if the grill in a 53 US Pontiac Chieftain is the same as the 53 Canadian Pontiac?  I have found that the hood front trim is shorter by about 1 1/2 inches. Does this mean that the nose grill is smaller also?  The problem started when, I sent my 53 Canadian Pontiac grill out to be replated and they lost it!  I did get them to replace it but I trhink its a 53 Pontiac Chieftain nose.  I would like to buy a complete 53 Canadian grill.  Does anyone have one for sale?

I believe that it should be the same, the only big difference comes with the longer wheel base for the hood and side trims. I know the 52's grille switches over.

it's so sad to ear that.

 

How can you lost a big parts like this! Ok the parts are dissasembled, but they are big anyway by itself.

 

Many parts are not interchangable between the us and canadian model. The grill parts itself should, many trim around not.
