If you're interested; 327 block s/n for my car is 855634406 according to George. My engine was stolen so I can't tell you the exact casting date but the car production date is July 9, 1965. Parisienne Custom Sport. 300HP L74.

Looks like a March 31, 1965 casting you have there.

Yes it is from Canukistan. The engine s/n's don't match a car s/n's in Canadian cars that I have seen. Maybe one of the "senior" guys can confirm??

Sounds like a L74 300HP. They were built with the 461 heads. Do they date code fairly close to the block? I'd say it came from a fullsize.

In the late 70's my friend had a 250 horse Impala with the same heads. I don't think they used the smaller heads on the Canadian 327 in 65 did they?

Not that I'm aware. I remember reading a post where it mentioned all Canadian data is on microfilm and is not searchable.
