Long shot, but do you know any history on it? Not a Manitoba car by chance?

When I had my first SD when I was 16, there was a green 65 post car here that had a 327 and a 4 speed put in. It was a 6 cyl car originally though.

Have to ask...

Cool photo

We had one in Clinton, for years with straight axle in it...     He ran junk yard motors...   He'd have a fresh 283-327 for Friday night/Sat

Sunday it would be 6 cyl.... wish I had taken photos

Were did the SD trim go to? I see it is missing now that your buddy owns the car. Pretty cool to see a car transform over the years.

Oh, ok. That's any Canso including SD, not SD unique.

The only thing unique on SD for trim is all the upper stuff on the sides and the one on the upper deck lid because it has the depression in it for the SD badge. All the rest is on Canso as well.

Unless I'm wrong...

yup, you are missing the SD trim in the one pic and it is the upper one around the trunk and back edge of the quarters
