The 1973 LeMans Sport Coupe offered divided bench seat with armrest OR bucket seats as standard equipment. My car is a good example. it has the bucket seats which were standard but the person ordering it did not get the console so it is column shift. Our orginal car bought in late '72 had the bench with pull down armrest. So either is standard. To quote the sales brochure: "You have your choice of front seats. Notchback bench or buckets. Just Like Luxury LeMans. And like the Luxury either is standard."
As for engines, Cam has pretty much nailed it. Canadian cars would get the 350 Chev either 2 or 4bbl dual when a 350 was ordered. 400 and 455 were Pontiac engines. The 400 small block was never offered in a LeMans built in Canada. Bill Markowski's Oshawa '73 GT was originally an export model so it got the Pontiac 350 2bbl with dual exhausts since duals were standard on the GT. Lets remember that the 250 six , a Chevy was standard in these cars.

I went and looked at a blue 1973 Lemans Sport Coupe 400 car today , to my surprise it wasn't powered with the usual chev 350 when new ? Did any of these cars came with a chev 400 or the American Pontiac 400 only ? I forgot to look at the vin# where it was built ... Also I thought these optioned cars came with buckets, this one had bench off the factory, now has non-original bucket seats, it is pretty rusty so I decided to pass on it, the 400 is long gone as well and replaced by a chev 350 4 bolt out of a truck.
Re: 1973 Lemans. Even the Oshawa cars used Pontiac 400 V8s when the 400 was ordered. The orange 350 SBC was used for the 350s unless other equipment dictated the use of a Pontiac block (then the car would be sourced from a U.S. plant). That was the case for the 350-powered GTs in 1972, they all had blue block Pontiac power as far as I have ever heard or seen. In 1973-onward GTs they could have come from Oshawa and with Chevy power to boot. The 350 4-barrel dual exhaust Lemans in 1973 was unique to Canadian production (Pontiac didn't offer blue block 350s with 4-barrels after 1969 until 1974)

Nice car you had there Carl, I love the color and stripe. Thanks everyone, the Lemans I looked at had the basic rear bumper without the rubber strip still in good shape !
Carl's car looks exactly like the one I learned to drive on, Dad bought it in November '72, same drive train too. It would beat my buddy's Dad's 69 Cutlass with the Gold Rocket 350, still bugs him to this day.
I bought a 73 in Sackville N.B. in "Christmas time" in '72 Was the only one in the Maritimes (at that time)

Awesome pics, Carl!
I remember so many of these out east would rot the bumpers from the back side due to all the road salt and other debris collecting at the non-chrome side. My car (my avatar) was 10 years old when I had it, and although it only had 27,000 miles on it there were spots on the bumper where only the thickness of the chrome plating remained.
When I see one nowdays (or any '73-'77 GM) with a mint rear bumper I still look at it in amazement.
Also, I remember when looking for tune-up parts for my 350 (Chev), the parts guy would always ask me if it was an orange (Chevy) engine or a blue (Pontiac) engine.
