I seem to have messed up my own post by doing editing that went out of control. Well here i go again. 1974 Chevrolet Caprice Estate station wagon that my dad bought new in May 1974 from West York Chev Olds. The car now has just over 48,000 miles on it and those miles were mostly vacation miles to the U.S.A. and all over Ontario. My dad always had a second car, hence the low milage. The car is fairly well equiped with all the usual goodies including A/C, power windows, power tailgate, roof rack, vent shades, wire wheel covers, cruise control, compass, AM radio, bumper rubber strips, front bumper guards, vanity mirrors, tinted glass, etc. The car has the original 400 V-8 four barrel with turbo 400 automatic. There is a ton of useable power under the hood but she does love fuel, lots and lots of fuel. This car weighs 5,500 pounds and yet can still get up and go. I usuall put on 300 to 400 miles a year on her going to car shows and cruise nights. The wagon was off the road for eight years in the garage in storage when i put her back on the road in 1994. My dad had stopped driving her and used his smaller second car because his family had grown to the point where we did not go out together as a family any more. There was nine of us including two parents, two boys and five girls, hence the nine passenger station wagon. Sadly my father passed away July 16, 1993 and had left me the car, i put the car back on the road in 1994. At that time the work included complete brakes front to rear because of sitting for eight years, new complete dual exhaust, new set of top of the line Michelin radials and some detail work in the engine compartment. I show the car in memory of my dad Anthony (1927-1993). I love this car and it will always remain in our family. It is in the will to my kid brother Mike who is 45 now because he is the only one that loves this car as much as i do. Thanks for listening. Cheers. Heres a few before pics of our soon to be completed '63 Biscayne delivery wagon. Lots of work has been done since these pics were taken and should be completed by May 01, 2013. Having lots of fun doing the rebuild on this one, just as we did with the Willys.

Great wagons. Do you want this thread in this area (For the Purist) or in another area?
Todd what ever you think is best. You know better than i do and i put it in there sort of by accident. I will leave it to your best judgement. Cheers. George.

I forgot how sharp those wagons looked. Nice wagon. I was working at my first dealership job back when the 74's were new. I remember seeing some of the very last 74 wagons with the 400 small block come through with the HEI ignition which would be standard equipment on all the 1975's.
