Heres one I almost bought in the 80's.  A buddy had to pose in front of it when we went to look at it.

Heres a few before pics of our soon to be completed '63 Biscayne delivery wagon. Lots of work has been done since these pics were taken and should be completed by May 01, 2013. Having lots of fun doing the rebuild on this one, just as we did with the Willys.

Tin man i love your 1963 Chevy wagon, she is a real beauty. Bare bones model and still sweet looking. Tell us your plans for the wagon, i am going to say a couple of prayers that she is being restored original. What ever your plans, good luck with that sweet time machine. Cheers. George.

I had the same wagon longstroke but mine had the 454.

Ian thanks for sharing your 1974 Chevy wagon memories with us. A 454 V-8 now that is sweet. I have 454 story to tell. When my dad went to the dealer in April 1974 he asked me to come with him. I did and at the time i was 16 years old and loved cars already. We sat down at the dealer and went over what my dad actually wanted the car to look like and what options he needed the car to have. I told my dad that he should seriously consider ordering the wagon with the 454 because it was a motor that had more torque and power to haul nine people around and that it would possibly be the same on fuel because it turned at a lower RPM than the small block. I knew this because as a teen a was reading HOTROD, CARCRAFT, POPULAR HOTRODDING and some other car magazine now for a number of years. My dad agreed to order the wagon with a 454. Then the freaking sales man convinces my dad to buy a car on the lot that had everything my dad wanted but the 454. The deal was too sweet and my dad fell in love with the colour on this wagon. I lost out on the 454 big block, that would have made my 74 wagon even sweeter. I still love my 400 small block but to have 454 big block bragging rights would have been real sweet. Cheers. George.

What a sad shame to leave such a special car out side like that. A ratty plastic cover that does nothing even at the best of times but has now evaporated. Obviously a very sold car that is being neglected. That sweet rare 60 Chev wagon needs a real home. I hope she gets it. George.

LOL, cool, that's my friend Rocky from North Carolina in the GTO wagon. His wife comes from Winnipeg originally! Beautiful car, eh? I never knew about this video, he hasn't ever mentioned it.
