Just checking but planning on hitting the Retrofest in Chatham on 5/25 and WAMBO in Wallacberg on 8/10. Anyone in? Looking forward to the Trews in Chatham too. Any other shows?
Lions 3rd. annual car show "right here in down town Blackstock" on May 25th!!! I know it;s not SW ont. but thought I'd put a PLUG in for them??? I 'should be able to put enough gas in "both cars" to make it to the fair grounds!!! But will have to walk back for the 2nd. car. Pete

Is there a Corvette show up in Bayfield? Stumbled upon it one weekend a few years ago travelling up along the lakeshore. Not sure if it was one time or an annual show.
is there an updated list of car shows / swap meets in the S/W ontario area? and if one exists an early pontiac show? my son and i went to carlisle last spring as i would go every now and then in the earlier years when refurbishing my 72 cutlass original owner from new and my 64 rag top t-bird, he purchased a 53 chieftain thought we could have some fun and buy some pontiac stuff. well the show was not what i remember, alot of non car stuff and unfortunately for us very little to none early pontiac stuff, we were not aware that the pontiac was not a big seller in the U.S.A. ?
Yes the Fleetwood show is awesome it should not be missed if all possible. I will be there with my 58 Pontiac and 58 Caddie with some friends with a 58 Buick and 58 Olds. Steve Plunkett's the organizer is going to loan us his 58 Chev Impala so we can set up a true 1958 GM display on the Saturday weather permitting. This setup will be done on the Friday and since Steve's car is involved we should be in a nice location hopefully near his car salon. Bob.

Bob, that sounds really sweet but i am sad to say i am going to miss the display of 1958 GM cars on Friday. I am going on the Saturday like i always do. Hope to see you and your fine 58's on Saturday though. Cheers. George

George the only reason we can set up the cars on Friday, is with Steve's special permission. Since one of the cars is his, there was no problem in receiving it. As you are aware the Fleetwood Cruize actually runs on the Saturday and Sunday, but thought I should mention that I did not want anyone who had not been there before, showing up on the Friday and being turned away.
