i replaced my hood hinges on my car and bolted on the hood tonight , the hood fits ok on one side but is to high on the other side ( higher than the fender about one inch )
i checked the hinges and they are bolted even on the fender on each side , i dont see any possible adjusment on the hinges

ONE THING I HAVE NOTICED THE HINGES ARE NOT THE SAME ON EACH SIDE
THE BRACKET THAT HOLDS THE SPRING ON ONE SIDE DIES NOT HAVE THE SAME ANGLE ONE HAS A GREATER ANGLE THAN THE OTHER ( I AM REFERING TO THE BRACKET THE CLOSEST TO THE FIREWAL )

Had that problem on a car. I just ground the up and down slot on bracket to fender and got away with it. Mine was not 1 in above though
thought of that but the bottom of the hinges are flat on the fender .........no play !!!!
i dont get this one ???????
look at the tabs in front of the hinges refering to the top of the fender , the tab on the passenger side is higher , but i cant fugure why ????? look closely at pics 3 and 4
