Hello everyone! My name is ADAMO (AHH-DAM-OHHH) Thats the name I was given, its Italian for Adam. I usually just go by Adam anyways. I've been into cars since I was a kid, started out hanging around my uncle Johnny and his Lime Green 69 Dart 340/4 speed and his friend Marce with a 71 Demon Street Machine. I've been addicted since.
Im currently 30 years old, I've owned over 35 cars since I was 15, a majority being pre 70 domestics. Im currently restoring a 1962 Bel Air Bubbletop seen here:
I currently run two car pictorial sites:
The Low Down
70s Street Machines
Im a car fanatic, 99% being pre 70 domestics in a pre 80s style (if that makes sense lol.) When the monochromatic, painted chrome, tubbed and underpowered cars came to light that killed hot rodding for me.
I do like Traditional hot rods, 60s Show Rods, Late 50s and 60s styled fullsize Kustoms, Gassers, Day 2 Musclecars, street freaks and custom vans, even though most where before my time. The automotive era from The 40s to the 70s facinates me.
My current driver is a 1957 Pontiac Pathfinder 2 Door Wagon. Very rare Canadian model, poncho sheetmetal on a tri 5 chassis.
261 straight 6, 3 on the tree!
I also scored an Offy 3 duece intake and carbs for the old 261!
Parking lights wired to headlights
Thanks for having me!
I've got a ton of questions, including how many 2 door wagons was there produced in Canada, how many are left, and where i can get more info on the history of mine!

Took the tint off the car last friday afternoon. What a bitch! 5 hours, 30 Razorblades and a whole bottle of Goo-gone and glass cleaner later, looks way better. I also got the stereo intalled, just need to finish off mounting the deck. I'm not crazy about the look of the sub box in the back through the clear glass, so I might take it out. Two Rockfords and a JL 1500 watt amp is overkill anyways lol
Sharp-looking wagon without the tint!
Syracuse Nats 2013 We had a blast!! Me and my uncle Johnny in his frame off'd 62 Laurentian.
I got voted for the Designer's Dozen, pretty cool parking the old wagon next to gazillion dollar show cars!!!

Most real car guys appreciate it when someone improves upon a good old car. Dumping an old straight six with archaic 3-on-the-tree for comfortable cruising and better performance just makes the car more enjoyable. Where is it decreed that you can't modify a car to your own taste?

Have to "AGREE" with Dave on this , to each there own, & the amount of miles I do on Both of my cars, [avg. 3500 to 4000 on each one] I want late model D/line in case you do have a break down 800 miles from home especially if your in the USA & have a "odd' ball" engine to "them" for parts, try explaining that your 57 Poncho has a six, TILT!!!!!
I can only please one person a day, today is not your day!!! Tomorrow isn't looking good either. !!!!!!!! BLACKSTOCK Ont.
Did not mean to hurt anyone's feelings here, i just thought that maybe i was entitled to an opinion like anyone else.
