Appeared in today's Aylmer paper

This car has been in town since it was purchased. I worked with this fellow's brother (Bill) at Victor Canada in Stthomas. The engine in my Canso was built by Bill  before he passed away.

Listed as--- 1970 Pontiac Tempest GT 37. VIN 233291129141 -350 v8 265 hp. Original 3 speed manual trans car, replaced with TH400 from GTO.P S,hood pins, duals,B F G's T/A Radials. Good condition $6,000    519 773 3399  His name is Max Ferguson.I remember Bill telling me  this car was ordered for their Dad,and when he passed away they changed it so Mom could drive it.Not sure if he has all the original parts.  I am going to try and get some pictures. Anyone have knowledge about these cars? Rare with the 3 speed manual, no?

I wonder if that would have been a Dearborn 3 speed? that would be a great car. almost what they built the 'Jury's' from.

If that car is as solid underneath as it appears on top, he should have no problem getting 6g for it. As they say, couldn't build it for that....

Cool car, but I'd be doing something with that "console".

Ken, if you buy it, I believe I know of a set of pedals for it in a wrecking yard if you want to change it back to a 3 speed. The guy usually charges 75 bucks, and it seems to me it's pedals and pedal pushrod in the Lemans that's there.
