Looking to get my powerglide out of my 66' Acadian rebuilt. It's the original tranny that was bolted up to the 6 cylinder and has lived behind a small block 350 for the last 20 years. It needs a refreshing, etc.... Can anyone recommend a reputable tranny shop in BC that knows powerglide's and street/strip applications.
Thanks
Tony

A guy I know who built my TH 350 back in 1999 does great tranny work. Mine is still shifting hard after many years of pulling high RPM. He ran his own shop for years now has retired and does it out his shop at home. He also has a 33 Willys he's owned for years that runs in the 9's so he knows what he's doing! I can get you his info if you like....
Foot of Scott Rd in surrey between 104th and 108th he did mine last October after i blew the front seal (had been there for 50 yrs so it was due..)
Mainland Transmission believe his name is Vern. he is an old guy who is very reliable
