Well good news-bad news. Got the car painted, base turned out perfect but when I was doing the clear the exhaust fan let go (motor bearing or blade?) Vibrated like #$@t sending down dust. So.... more wet sanding! But it did turn out nice other than that. If I pissed her off that much Dan, I'd be the one outside sleeping under a big old cedar tree.
Looks really good from here buddy. Its amazing how 3000 miles
and a bit of squinting, makes her look flawless.

Awesome! Good job, too bad on the dust. But don't kid yourself, you were going to wet sand and buff anyway.
So now you have to. A few more beers and some elbow grease.

and only had dust to contend with... it could have been a real disaster,
had you painted it last night.
Had just come up from downstairs when all of a sudden the house shook like crazy for about 5 seconds, all my furnace ducting sounded like thunder from vibrating and the dog took off under the bed and wouldn't come out. At first I thought something blew up downstairs but nope just an earthquake (no damage)and yes the paint would have turned out alot worse.
