Maybe the owner has a 64 BelAir 409 too!
That's the problem when someone builds a fake. Someone down the line tries to sell the b#llsht car as an original,finds a mark and there you have an "original" SS that started out from the factory as a 307 Malibu.

 I agree on the side trim. Malibu side trim at the front. My brother has a Malibu conv and it looks the same. Also upper side trim looks like the vinyl stick on type ?? Should be a tape stripe. enough said

 clearly a Malibu, even has the scripts on the quarters, camaro hood louvers on a flat hood etc.... sad part is it might even be a decent car (malibu)

 

how different is this really than the Z16 marketed car ? ya he went too far with tags
