Love the site, been lurking off and on for a year or so.
Short intro; been a car guy since I was old enough to walk. Used to work in the trade, parts guy, auto painter and glass installer. Now working as a Power Engineer at a micro-brewery in Burnaby, B.C.
Been searching for a project for some time and found this car on Vancouver Island, while searching the web for any info on this car I was led back here, as some members had posted the ad from last summer, hence the reference to "short virgin". http://canadianponcho.activeboard.com/t54966417/65-beaumont-wagon/ Forgot to ask the previous owner about that, but I think he wanted to describe it as a short version. Who knows.
Anyhow on to the pics
Half way home the master cylinder went out so that was the first thing I replaced.
Car is really solid, just a little rough around the edges, some bad re-sprays, damaged trim, rusty front bumper, wrong side view mirror.
Plans for now are to clean it up a bit , get it air-cared, fix all the small things that need to be done and then enjoy it for the summer.
Welcome from Canada's east coast. I was a tall virgin (a long time ago).
Beautiful wagon!!!
