In 66, you had to pick, gauges or speed warning. You could not order both on the same vehicle. I never new that it was offered later on but clearly it was because there's a 68 project car on ebay right now with it.

Had forgot all about this option, haven't seen one in a long time.

All that in one dash and then there was no place for the tach!

I'm not sure if 68 had a hood tach (other than as a dealer accessory) but I think 67 had a hood tach available from the factory (US models only)

For 66, you could get speedwarning OR cruise control OR gauges. This proves there was a combo platter available for 68. Anyone know about 67, what was offered?

Actually Carl-I have a 66 guage cluster for my Beaumont that I bought on our trip to Springfield years ago=remember that one?,It has guages, speedminder and a low fuel warning light as well.Anderson put it all together for me then I had clock Doc in the U.S. re-finish the whole cluster-super cool guage set-up-Guess I should put it in someday!!

It's not doing you any good sitting on the shelf!

Actually, I was referring to the B bodies in the above post. I hadn't thought about the A body optional stuff.

ya I know you were referring to B body stuff, but as far as I can recall the pontiac gauges in those years always seemed to come with no gauges when a speed minder was there-at least in the 66 and 67 cars anyways.I love speed minders-always remember coming home from picking up the 68 Buick rag from Howards one spring and kept hearing this annoying buzzing on the highway.I could not figure out what the noise was-was getting all worked up and then realized it was the speed minder going off-LOL!!

My 67 GP wagon speed warning scared the crap out of me more than once on the highway!

On my big 69 Pontiacs just by co-incidence I think I have every possible cluster that year:
...Executive and Catalina have the basic cluster
...Ventura has the warning lamps (low fuel, seatbelt, lights on)
...2+2 has basic cluster plus speed warning
...4 door Bonneville has gauges
...Bonneville droptop has gauges and speed warning

There is another possible combo according to the accessorizer, warning lights and speed warning but If you look where the warning lights are and where the speedwarning knob is they are in conflict so I suspect they just forgot to show that restriction. They do show that warning lights were not available with gauges.
