1955 Chevy brakes on 1954 Pontiac Pathfinder

I have just bought a 1954 Pathfinder which was missing the rear brakes. I can find almost every part except for the emergency brake brackets, return springs, etc. I did however find a drum brake kit for a 1955 Chevy Belair. So my question is would the 1955 parts fit on the 1954 Pontiac.

If the 55 Chevy kit fits a 54 Chevy   you should be good to go
