Here are some of the hardest parts I had to find. Some (like the wood dash 2+2 applique) I never did find and had to have fabricated. I'd make it a poll, but I'm sure there are things I haven't thought of, so pile on!
- Speed Warning Dash
- NOS or like-new heater control. Probably even worse for AC. Probably even worse than that for Comfotron.
- Air cleaner decals for the 427 (with the proper 3D raised texture, not just the sticker repops)
- Dash wood (that says Pontiac or Parisenne or 2+2)
- Big block 4-speed air cleaner (no heat stove pipe or Thermac, so different from automatic. Mine came from an Impala SS, so I got to cheat on that one)
- Power Antenna switch
- NOS or like-new side marker lights for a 2+2 (the ones that don't expect the side trim to abut up against them)
- Convertible defog
Thoughts?

I've been collecting for a while, so have some of the things davepl identified, including a 70 Ralley Guage Cluster with Speedwarning. Also have an NOS Automatic AC control set, and a number of the dash woodgrains for the passenger side. In 70, two different woodgrains were used on the US cars, Burled Elm and Walnut. The clusters & heater controls are different between 69 & 70, but I suspect some of the passenger side woodgrain panels may be the same between the years. Especially the ones that just say "Pontiac" like in my 454 Laurentian.
Horn button emblem for a Canadian Pontiac, Beaumont or Acadian with the optional Sport Styled steering wheel. They are so rare that most people doubt they ever existed.

In my case, considering i have a 1957 Pontiac. It would be an original rear mount antenna, original wire wheel covers, original over drive standard transmission and original Hydro-vac power brakes for standard shift cars. For my 1974 Chev Caprice Estate, it would be an original AM/FM 8 track in dash stereo player, kick panel litter container, tilt steering wheel, rear bumper guards and remote left and right door mirrors mirrors. I keep searching and hoping and one day.................... one day. Cheers. George.

Good solid original body panels... not that mine are bad.. but if the time were to come for a full frame off.. any OEM replacement body panels seem to be impossible to find...
Four speed air cleaner (no thermac or heat stove) took a while to find, but they made them for Impalas too so you can cheat.
The center caps are tough. I've never found one, but found no-name Chevy reproductions that lack any text or logos so they look quite close.
I have what I believe at the last two 1969 NOS 427 emblems. I'd duplicate them if legal and if it could be done without risking my originals.
Proper air cleaner decal would be nice. I see someone is making 3D style emblems for the Chev air cleaners now, but whether that'd help in us getting the "embossed" ones done or not I don't know. We'd need some good reference photos, as the following one is all I have.
Wow. Any chance you could send a photo? I've got a rally cluster and I've got a speed warning cluster but never even heard of one with both combined. Clearly for the US cars (no rally gauges in Canada).
Was it by chance 70 only? The 70 cluster and clock are a different color (black) than the 69 (dark blue).

The two Grande scripts and door panel scripts for my 66 Grande Parisienne are like chicken lips - they just ain't out there!! I've been out of circulation with the car thing for the last few months but with winter around the corner, it's time to sell some cars, raise some cash to pay bills and get to work on a project and I'll be looking for some '66 parts. The GP wont make iot into the shop this year yet and I may just sell it and focus my attention on another project. But those scripts seem to be few and far between.
Hardest part on a 65 Beaumont has to be a factory am/fm radio. I call phillipsmusclecarparts.com for all my n.o.s. parts. Steve has over 15,000 nos parts in stock from the 50s and up. He also has used.
