This is a brand new in the box Edelbrock Performer #3711 intake. From my limited Olds knowledge, I believe it fits the engines listed above. I believe it does NOT fit 400, 425, 455 Olds. The box is old and ratty with the only date I can find anywhere being a dusty label on the box with 03-15-99 and it looks like it's been on a shelf that long. There is NO sign of it ever having even been bolted to an engine. I bought it from my brother's estate and I know nothing else about it other than what I have written here.
Here's the deal. I have two thoughts on this.
A --- The cheapest I can find it anywhere on the internet is $257 US. I want to get $100 out of it, but it certainly must be worth more than that to someone with an Olds. So, the auction starts with a reserve bid of $100 minimum. Anything over $100 will go to Canadian Poncho, that is 100% of anything over $100 will be donated. Shipping will be at your expense to wherever you are, at actual cost, nothing more. How would it be if we run the auction from now until Sunday, July 13th 10 PM Manitoba time? Highest bid to that date and time is the winner.
B --- How about a Buy-It-Now? I was thinking that at any point during the auction, if someone just wants to buy it, just state "I will Buy-It-Now and I will ship it regular mail, insured, anywhere in North America for $240 Canadian total including shipping, and donate $100 to Canadian Poncho.
Please let me know if anything is not clear, or if I've omitted something.

I used to own a 1977 Oldsmobile 98 Regency with a 403, but I sent it down the road a long time ago. I considered keeping the engine but I got a decent trade as it was. All I have today is the original power steering pump from it after a new unit went in. That is all I have from it, not even a single picture of the car. It was in decent shape for 300,000+ kms.
Hmm, I seem to recall a guy that I met at my rebuilder's place (Tom Morana) that was swapping a 403 into his 1978 Cutlass. I wonder if I can contact him?

There isn't really a small block / big block per se, rather a low deck vs. tall deck which translates into a wider valley between the heads. The tall deck engine were the 400, 425 & 455.
