Sharp looking car. Hideaways are awesome.

This car has some issues! What's it worth? Vinyl roof requires replacement and some paint repairs. Also, it has been sitting for a while and there are fuel problems with it. I had a friend that had one of these, same colour but had a 427 auto and a bench seat. Was the 427 bench seat a rare car?

Welcome et.

I am safe in saying any 427 powered Canadian Pontiac was rare.

39725921_614.jpgI'd buy a 68 just for the rear sidemarkers!

I remember back in the day, one of my drunk buddies backed up in his Jimmy and shaved the rear marker light right off my 68 2+2 convert. The car was a nasty slime green, but that was no reason to modify it for me !!
Hard to see, but she was my pride and joy when I was about 20.

Seems like a real good deal for that kind of money. Love the interior.

Cool. No vent windows. Had to check into it.  Was called the new Astro Ventilation system with vents in the dash. They sure liked that name Astro back then.

Very likely, but I wouldn't buy a whole car just for just for the markers.......unless, of course, they were decent :)

A few weeks ago I threw out the whole wiring harness, tail light & marker light assemblies from a 68 Parisienne.  They'd been sitting there for 10 years collecting dust.

That's the way it works. nobody needs anything until you turf it. I'm pulling apart my 62 parts Parisienne. It's got to be quick and dirty, right to the frame. Nobody needs anything I'm trying to get rid of, but I'm taking it apart anyway. When it's in a big pile I'll look it over and decide what goes to the barn and what goes to metal recycling.

You can rest assured I'll keep the wrong stuff. biggrin   A few years back I took a mint 62 shaded windshield out of a hardtop Olds. Tried to sell it for $50 and finally put it in a car that was going for scrap.

Now my 62 Parisienne rag top needs a windshield......heavy sigh. no
