congrats - getting tough to sell anything these days especially a nice classic like yours - its amazing that the market has turn so much in so little time - no jobs, no money and a fad that seems to be fading
just got back from Fenalon Falls show, dozens of cars for sale in show area!!!! Saw one equal trade made while there, but others said they can,t give them away!!!!! NO MARKET for them Sign of the times I guess. Pete

from what I hear car show attendance is mostly up. A lot of those cars for sale I call speculators that should'nt have been in the hobby to start. We are seeing new people in the hobby who are taking advantage of the somewhat depressed prices to finally be able to afford their car. The cars not selling often don't demand their 2008 asking prices; and they never did. The poor body jobs and other glossed over areas are starting to show up!
Had a call from 'the new owner' of the 64 Catalina 2+2. He just bought it from the dealer I traded it in to, & drove it home last night. Just wanted to get some " info" on it!!!! Said he was impressed how well it drove!!! He thought it had a "Ford" 9" rear end by looking at it so had to explain it was a stock US Poncho rear end & nothing like the Ford or Cdn. Pontiac!!! Glad it found a home & not sitting in warehouse collecting dust. Last time I saw it, it was on the lwr. level with a 440 Cuda 4 gear on rack above it!!!!!
