Mike, that is a real B.E.A.U.T.I.F.UL. 57 Pontiac. Any chance of seeing shots of the 283 motor and the interior of that fine automobile. She looks real sweet and the only thing left to do is add wide white walls. Mike good luck with the sale and i hope she goes to a good well adjusted home and not a house of horrors. Cheers. George.

Normally you are supposed to have 10 posts before posting anything for sale but since this car looks so nice I'll make an exception. That's the first time I've seen a London Motor Product's emblem from the 1950's. Cool.
I'm familiar with this car and having driven it, if only onto and off my trailer, can attest to how solid and well preserved it is.
Any one looking for a nice presentable 57 can't go wrong with this one.
That 57 is a very nice car and has been at the Giant Tiger car show in South Porcupine. I hope who ever buys it keeps it all original and only adds the correct white wall tires. This years show is cancelled because of a fire at the store in July. The main sponser Giant Tiger franshise holder Greg Kelso just is too busy trying to get all the renovations done and all new inventory in the store before Dec. Last years show had appx 150 cars which was the largest show ever in the Timmins area. There was a few 50's Canadian Pontiacs at the show including my 55 2 dr Laurentian, the 57 for sale here , a very nice 58 2dr hardtop and a an all original 60 Laurentian 4 dr.
Mike i look at your 57 Pontiac and it almost makes me wish i did not have one, so i could buy yours. That is a real sweet car you have there. Everything looks so original, including the interior. Mike good luck with the sale and i really hope you sell the car to someone that actually appreciates it for what it really is. I am passing on the word of your car to folks that i know, that might possibly be interested in it. Cheers. George.

Thanks George, the car really is mostly original from what I can see, the interior definitely is, including carpets, seat upholstery, door panels, and the beautiful steel dash, the car does have a few areas where the paint has been touched up, but is mostly original, the white spear and top are fairly new, the original buyer had the car insured in 1999, and at that time the car was all blue, have pictures that show that, I bought the car at auction in 2006, and it had the white on it by then. I have a binder that accompanies the car, some old pictures, and background that came with the car will follow it, sure hope somebody will buy it and love and take care of it like I did. I have 2 cars, both for sale, whichever one goes first, the other will stay, 1968 Olds Delta 88 , 4-door HT anyone?
What's wrong with wanting to put a SBC or a big Block for that matter & dual quads & 5 spd. stick in it, SORRY can't help myself !!!! Just me, has to be modified or won't live at my house, somebody else had better buy it!!!!

Pete does that mean, that you are going to modify your newly purchased Avanti II ? Hmmmmmmmm. Pete leave this cherry survivor to us purists. There are plenty of cars out there to chop up. Cheers. George.

Just "pullin" your chain!!!! Although I have "changed" the wheels & tires on Avanti !!! Just couldn't get "attached" to the Stock look !!!! & went with Chrome Reverse wheels & baby moons. Since this has 3:73 gears 'out back" & loves it's fuel [4000 rpm at 70 Mph] it's taking a "ride] to West Virginia end of the month, The "Burb" will get mileage, towing it there Pete
Something strange about that guy, he's looking for a 57 58 or 59 Pontiac Parisienne, responded to the ad offering the info that Parisienne didn't appear in the Canadian line up til 58, and that I had the car pictured for sale, he asked for pics, I offered what I had posted here, and never acknowledged even receiving them? Whats with people today?
