Nice Ol' 70 Cadillac Convertible. Ottawa


Cadillac's from the 1970's don't often draw my attention but this one is super nice

1970 Cadillac DeVille convertible. 
All original metal, no rust, damage or abuse on this Vancouver convertible. One repaint to the code 19 Sable Black paint. Newer code B black convertible top. Leather seats in code 388 Medium Red. 472 cubic inch V8 with automatic transmission. Power seats, windows, top, steering and brakes. Headlight dimmer. AM/FM radio. A/C delete car. 1970 was the final RWD DeVille convertible, and the peak horsepower of the series, 375 h.p. Car in Ottawa, ON. Call John for details at 613-825-1118.

I agree Todd. This is a sharp car. Last of the RWD convertible Cadi's. Hard to find in nice shape, and not repainted white with bullhorns!

Reminds me of Dr. Yankoff's car our local family practitioner back when I was a kid, he'd sometimes let his son drive it to school who was a classmate. I could see Big Ray behind the wheel of this, Black and red is a great combo.

Absolutely beautiful car, but 2 words that do not come to mind are "fuel economy".   But then again, if you're cruising in a 70 Caddy convertible, you've got the resources to pay for gas.

 You would think so Dale, but most Canadian delivery Cadi's back then didn't have A/C. Especially converts.

luggage rack looks Corvette - or would it just be GM accessory ? as I don't believe they were factory on a vette until 76 / 77

 I find the luggage rack somewhat curious as the trunk is large enough to fit a family of 6 and their luggage.
