1957 Pontiac Pathfinder Safari For Sale

Restored in the late 1970's and one family owned since. Single stage urethane paint job that still shows remarkable well.

Excellent upholstery and headliner, bumpers and grill have been re-chromed, stainless trim is in excellent condition.

Car has it original Chevy 283 and powerglide transmission. Starts, runs and drives like a 57 Pontiac should. Has manual steering and manual brakes.

This car is a daily driver and a great family cruiser. Very complete and very original.

I have two Safari's, but I can only keep one, so unfortunately this one must go.....

$13,000 Car is located in Regina. No trade offers please. For more detailed information, please call 306-539-5962 or PM.

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. Not an easy thing to do, but I'll say this....if the 57 had the engine, 4 speed trans, PS and PB that my 64 Safari has I would be selling a different car right now. I can sit and stare at this car all day and I just fall in love with it, then I fire up the 64 and take it for a rip and I know I'm making the right decision....I think...

I want to make sure i got this right. Derek in Regina sold this 57 wagon to someone in Hamilton, Ontario  and now they are selling it. That makes little sense to me. Johnnee D, do you know any of the particulars about this. I hope to see that sweet 57 wagon this summer as well. I almost wish i did not already have one, so i could buy that beauty. George.

Derek, do you care to share any information with us on the sale of your 57 wagon. Like who in Hamilton, Ontario bought the car and when did you sell it. It strikes me as odd that they would be selling the car already, so soon after purchasing it. Glad to see it is here in Ontario though, i can get to see that beauty up close. I sure wish i owned that beauty but last time i checked, i already have a 57 Pontiac. George.

George, surely you don't mean that you would be willing to administer 49 lashes with a wet spaghetti noodle. Oh, the horror!

That is a really nice wagon, a purist's delight. Still wondering where it got to...

If I owned it I would go for several different sets of wheels & tires. It would have correct wide whites on the original wheels, also another set of alloy wheels just large enough to find tires for it (18's?), and maybe another set of old vintage mags just to change it up.

Hey, didn't Dualquadpete buy Derek's '64 wagon?
