Thanks for all the well wishes guys. Not an easy thing to do, but I'll say this....if the 57 had the engine, 4 speed trans, PS and PB that my 64 Safari has I would be selling a different car right now. I can sit and stare at this car all day and I just fall in love with it, then I fire up the 64 and take it for a rip and I know I'm making the right decision....I think...
Funny the older we get the more options we want ( easyer to drive), in the last 5 years have put in 5speed od, 3.73 diff, PS,PB, in one of my cars. I'm getting old But at least is was a 5sp manual

I want to make sure i got this right. Derek in Regina sold this 57 wagon to someone in Hamilton, Ontario and now they are selling it. That makes little sense to me. Johnnee D, do you know any of the particulars about this. I hope to see that sweet 57 wagon this summer as well. I almost wish i did not already have one, so i could buy that beauty. George.

Derek, do you care to share any information with us on the sale of your 57 wagon. Like who in Hamilton, Ontario bought the car and when did you sell it. It strikes me as odd that they would be selling the car already, so soon after purchasing it. Glad to see it is here in Ontario though, i can get to see that beauty up close. I sure wish i owned that beauty but last time i checked, i already have a 57 Pontiac. George.

Hope someone sees it at a local show or cruise night and posts where it ended up.I would like to see it in person this summer if it stayed in Southern On.
A really sweet beautiful car that deserves R.E.S.P.E.C.T. and if it does go to the wrong owner.................. well i better not say what i feel. I may may just get bumped out of this great site for saying so.

George, surely you don't mean that you would be willing to administer 49 lashes with a wet spaghetti noodle. Oh, the horror!
That is a really nice wagon, a purist's delight. Still wondering where it got to...
If I owned it I would go for several different sets of wheels & tires. It would have correct wide whites on the original wheels, also another set of alloy wheels just large enough to find tires for it (18's?), and maybe another set of old vintage mags just to change it up.
Hey, didn't Dualquadpete buy Derek's '64 wagon?
