I wish I had the money Bill as I would buy it in a heart beat. I love the colour even if it was a green interior. I hope you get every dollar you want out of it.

I posted a couple of photos and the link to your original ad on our Facebook page. We have quite a few folks on there who aren't on the forum. I wish I had 20k to spare. I can picture myself bombing down the road with "Mississippi Queen" blaring through the stereo!
I've been trying to get a hold of Bill the seller of this car. I have a fellow in the US who is interested in it. Does anyone have his phone number? I've sent Bill a PM but haven't received a reply.
I got a pile of responses from the seller.Think he's sick of trying to sell it. Not original motor and looks like th quarters overlap in the trunk, needs new inner fenders, and trunk pan.The cab floor who knows. I think he's stuck on 20k. I made what I thought was a solid offer but I guess he won't respond to anyone less than 20 K .
Cam is right and he and I both know this car and it is very presentable and one I'd be proud to own. I have never been one for originality or numbers match so imo this is a super nice car to own, drive and enjoy. An Honest seller like Bill is another rarity in this hobby.

I would have to venture to say that obviously the car doesn't show as well in person as it does online! IF it did, it would have been gone by now. So it's either priced wrong (HIGH) or just not what "people" are expecting for the $$$, SORRY. Looks like a nice car. IN FACT I was considering buying this myself, just too many projects on the go right now for me. I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS CAR IN PERSON MYSELF.
The market is weird. I have seen some fairly nice, numbers matching SS Chevelles that are in the low 30's. So you take into consideration that "the Barrett Jackson" Syndrome that people with cars and even the general public has gotten, you can sorta see why. YOU WILL LOSE $$$ 98% of the time on these hobby cars. SO without the #'s matching, with the issues TRUCKER has stated, the colour combo, and the fact the just driving it and normal wear and tear depredation, and that fact that 80% of the world just doesn't understand what a Beaumont is, you have to start adding things up. So maybe even though YES it's a rare Beaumont, there is too many little things to warrant the price, IMO. And seeing the length of time this car has been for sale, others must feel the same. Not a dig just a fact. And maybe the seller is FIRM on the price hurts too. I personally, will not usually deal with people who are FIRM when it come to pricing. BUT there are the exceptions to the rules too.
I'm also very tempted to buy this car,my view is that with all the work that needs to be done "and I can't stand the saying,it is what it is" the value to get that money back is difficult. It's hard enough to get back even close to what one spends on these things. The person who buys this car is the guy that loves it and wants it, whats a car like this done with another 10 or 15 k spent on it? 35 k? I'm not sure. No one including myself likes to have a car picked on,they become family,it's just my opinion, and I know my opinion sucks. As far as I last checked, the economy is going down the toilet. Money is tougher to find right now.
