past ride back on the market

found my old sold 65 parisienne pillarless 4 door back on the market on aussie gumtree.  $10000 for sale in melbourne area....I put the horrible 5 slots on to sell it...I thought they would have got rid of them! I put electric windows including quarters, and door trims in the car from a 65 buick electra. took a bit of fiddling to fit as rear doors are longer. Thankfully the location of actuators, screws etc  are pressed into the doors. Small mods required for mechanisms. worked out well. also used some external chrome window mouldings, again ith mods due to length....

Nice car. A 58 Plymouth I used to own back in 1998 shows up for sale from time to time. I'd love to have it back (it was a California car) but the price is about 3 times what I sold it for..

ain't it always the way.....Had an aussie performance car back in my twenties, whats called a torana SLR5000. limited run Factory homologated so they could race at bathurst. Swapped it for a kombi now worth 45-60 grand....the things we do...same as pictured.
