Wagon still for sale I'm just splitting it up to sell it because everyone seems to think their going to get it for gas monkey garage prices . I think what I'm asking for is reasonable prices , I'm loosing money at these prices! I'm going to take the grill out of the car and sell it separately and ask less for the wagon
I thought it would sell fast. It's not in bad shape the floor and frame are solid. I was hoping it would sell as a package deal because the parts car and parts I hunted down is all it needs to fix it and have a nice driver.

Be patient, you have only had the car for sale for less than a couple weeks if I read this right. I just sold my wife's car this weekend and it took me a little over a couple weeks and that was way quicker than I thought it would be. When you see it sell in the first few days it is usually is because it is priced a little too low. My take on it is if it takes me another couple weeks and I make another few hundred bucks that is some tax free money I made. I think you have your car very fairly priced and it will sell at that price but might take you a month or so.
Maybe we could have a CP fundraising event to purchase it for Todd as the CP events cruiser?
If 65 people were to toss in $20, that would cover the purchase price. Then shipping would be another issue - maybe a member could help out here somehow? Maybe we could get enough donations to cover purchase and shipping? Would be nice to see the car go to a good cause, and to have proper CP representation at various shows.
shipping shouldnt be too bad. my friend was 1100 from BC to ontario. its just outside winnipeg. so sould be reasonable to get it to somewhere drive able to the island

If we're going to get serious about it, maybe we should ask Todd if it's something that he is comfortable with.
My vision would be to be able to donate through CP to a "CP official vehicle" fund, but that would be more work for Todd to manage, and then there would probably have to be some kind of directive of a "plan B" in the event that it didn't pan out.
I'm also not sure how many people would be willing to go in on it, but if so, a dedicated thread would also help get the word out.
I'd love to see another Canadian Pontiac be saved while also having the presence of a CP official car that we could all take some pride in.
It would be cool to own that car however I feel kind of weird having members chip in on it. Currently I don't really have a decent garage to put it. The current garage is full of yard equipment and I don't think it's long enough to hold the Pontiac. A "real" garage is on my wish list however I have no idea when we will be able to swing it. Thanks to our house sale not going as we expected it's really put us in a tight situation. I'm optimistic things will be better for us in the New Year. Thanks for the offer though. You guys are great.
It was just a thought, Todd. I think it would be cool to have an official car of the Canadian Poncho website, and I can't think of a better guy to be caretaker of it.
