we are humming along now. It seems to be coming together fairly quickly now. The interior is almost done. I have to rust proof the insides of the doors and rear quarter. Install the doors weather strips and then the panels go on and that is it all done inside
Thanks again Pete for sending me the photos of yours to refresh my memory on how some of these pieces went in

Thanks George and Darryl its a good feeling to stand back and look at it now.
Tonight's adventures was a chore and a half with all the new padding in the seat to get in place. New seat belts went in nice and are nice and long. We still have to put the fronts in but are waiting for some sleeves for the seat as GM just sliced the vinyl originally and although you can't really see it, I really want to make it look more professional as I will know its there.

I had a productive weekend with buttoning up some things. Not so successful with solving my wiper issue. Diagnosis says I have an internal short in the relay
on the positive side we got the front belts in and chassis all coated and rust proofed for protection. Started looking some wires now that the good Carb. is in place

What are you going to do with all your time Mike once you're finished?

I am not sure yet... never seemed to have enough time for anything while we were working on it. I am sure there will be lots to do and there is the time to enjoy it.
as as far as the pedal car we have though about it but also like the look of it the way it is. Its the same as the one I had a a child.
Mike, congrats on that beautiful 64 wagon of yours and Allison's. No doubt the best 64 wagon out there today. I praise you, Allison and your dad for the amazing work you folks have done on that car. Good luck with the car and i look forward to seeing it at up coming car shows. Cheers.

Yesterday was pretty exciting. My wife was able to drive her car after many years of work and it went well. We have some adjustments to make and then book an alignment. After that we can start cruising.

Well we have been doing short little road tests to get some quirks worked out. We are just waiting to get it in for an alignment and then I think it may be ready for some actual driving.
We she made her debut show this past weekend at the local Classics Against Cancer show that did happen after all - Mrs. Urban Suburban took 2nd place with it too. it was so hot but a great show - we even got to meet a couple members and see their cars too!
