Missing Heater core

Not sure if this is the right place for this.

So my 62 Strato Chief is missing the heater core and the ducting under the dash.  I may be able to get this stuff off the previous owners parts car in the spring.  but who knows what sort of shape it will be in.  Is there any place to find a new heater core for this thing or do I have to hope to luck out on a used one.?

It would be the same as impala, new ones for non a/c cars are aluminium. New ones for a/c cars are brass/copper.

prices go from $41 to $170 depending the source. The heater core is taller for a/c cars.

im trying to find the brass version which is in my non a/c car. New retainer clips are also available.

Are there any old-time radiator shops around anymore? They could recore a used one and pressure test it so it will function as good as new.

Not much in this area any more. I know there's one or two in Winnipeg that still do radiator work.

The junk heater cores we see coming out of China is pathetic. We've had a number of them at the dealership that look correct but won't fit when you try to put them in, or else they leak right out of the box. Sad.
