Hi everyone. As a longtime member of a couple hobby sites I can appreciate the value of the wisdom of those who have already been there so here we are. I have been surfing Canadian Poncho for a few days now while waiting for my member status and have already soaked up some great info and drooled over many of your cars. No shortage of inspiration here! Now what brings us here? My son is a proud new owner of a beautiful 1969 Beaumont. Condition is very nice. I will fill you in on specs later. Needs finishing touches. Fuel line routing looks like a dogs breakfast, wheels and tires, interior details. Mike wants a cowl hood too. Wanted to introduce myself and share a few pics and a video if I can. Great site and happy to be here. Talk to you all soon.
Dave

Welcome from Transcona. Nice looking Beaumont. I have a 69 also under construction. Will also be running new fuel lines in spring. Got any questions just ask.
Thanks everyone. Yes, questions will be asked. We are looking into tire and rim combinations. Mike would like to do a disk brake upgrade. He is also looking at upper and lower control arm upgrade. Any tips and opinions on that would be greatly appreciated. Need a factory radio. We need tips on shifter options also. Thanks again everyone.
Welcome! great car and love the handle. There has to be a story there. Maybe I should change mine to something more exciting and truthful (as I'm actually not that grande of a guy)
Thank you and a very nice Beaumont you have there. Very nice. Mike would like to see the wheels, could you send some pics and measurements on them? Thx

American Torque Thrust "D" ..Rear 15x8 (255/60R) Front 15x7( 215/65R). Lots of knowledge and help on this site.
Got some work done on the car. Wheels and tires are on. mike is real happy with the results. 255/70 rear and 255/60 fronts. Last owner went crazy with the brass and hoses so we cleaned them up and it looks much better. Shifter, blue pump and line lock will be going in this weekend. Mike and I have had some great quality time working on this baby. Looking forward to a great summer.
