Quit it!!! Now I'm going on the hunt for a '66 and don't have garage space for one! '66 Catalina coupes are a heck of a lot easier to find then a 2 door post! Your '66 SC has to be one of my favourite cars. I like the big '66 ponchos way more than the Chevy's that year for sure. I can picture myself walking into a Pontiac dealer in 1966 driving right past the Chevy dealers lol. I can almost picture the salesman asking me if I want to test drive a new GTO. I would gladly tell him, nope, give me an order sheet please to fill out for a brand new aqua Catalina 2 door post black interior with 421 tri power with 4 speed bench and safe-T-Track rear end 3:70 gears and black wall tires and steelies no hub caps. No power steering, brakes etc. Only options a radio and heater thank you very much!
Carl, you are the 1966 Canadian Pontiac Salesperson Of The Year!

Thanks for the pic, like the background shots of the cars that meant something to us from the past. Somewhere in my parents scrapbook there is a photo of the house I grew up in from 1977 and up since I was 5. In the photo there is a shot of our neighbors 1967 Laurentian sedan (they moved down to Seattle from Moncton BC a year prior) a 1966 Safari wagon 2 houses down. Also or other neighbor had a 1969 Executive sedan and a 1973 Bonneville convertible and a new 1979 Grand Prix. We were a Ford family unfortunately :( with a 1973 Galaxie (the dictator's car (my father), '72 Gran Torino wagon (mom's car). Even by 1977 that Laurentian, spending 9 winters in BC was rusted out completely on the quarters and the 66 and '69 Pontiacs we showing their age (faded paint etc). My dad called it GM junk, and despised Chevrolet products even more. Screw him.
Carl, I lived in NB until 1980 and I'm curious where in NB you found this unit. I was heavy into cars when this puppy was made and can't recall ever seeing this particular car. NB is not a big place. Glad you got it before the calcium chloride disolved it.
