Well, I made another mistake. I thought this had no gas cap and the tank would be full of muck. I opened the flap to see what type of cap I needed, and there was a cap painted the same colour as the car. Guess it was the last 62 Parisienne I pulled apart that had no cap. So.......I put a filter on at the hard line and hooked it back up to the fuel pump. Wouldn't you know, even the new (old, but new) carb seems to have it's accelerator pump starting to work again.
In goes the key, and she won't fire. Pump it twice and away we go. Running so smooth it brought a tear to my eye. I won't have a chance to work on it again for a week, so I may throw a quick ad on the "CP For Sale" forum. Just see if it's of any interest, the way it is, to someone.
