......here's some old cars in Cuba......my first car was a 57 Pontiac 4 door this color combo but

Because they are owned by the government and then leased out to the Taxi drivers most have been set-up with diesel engines. You can see this in a lot of examples cause the wheels don't fit properly around the body openings. Some hardtops have had the roof cut off and made into convertibles. A lot of the classics hang around Havana.

When I was there with the "EX" a few yrs. ago, saw a 56 Chevy in hotel P/lot, had a Kubota 3 cyl. diesel hooked to a Honda 5spd. trans. Weird but worked!!!!

   There is getting to be alot of 4 door convertibles in Varadero.

   There is getting to be alot of 4 door convertibles in Varadero.

Now that the U.S. and Cuba have shook hands, I would expect that a lot (including these old cars) is going to change.

I heard Cuba is sending buyer(s) to the Canadian West to clean up all the hoards of old card for parts in Cuba
