Didn't think such a common part 30 years ago would be so hard to find. Looking for part# or source for a 3/16 brake line bulkhead "t" that goes on the front fender well of a 66 Canso. Can see 1 on my 4dr Canso but can't seem to find a place that sell's them. Same as this with retainer grooves but for 3/16 line on all 3 ports. Thanks
A diverter block, just make sure you use a dab of lock tight on the threads while everything is clean and dry, nothing more frustrating than rebuilding entire brake system and discovering weeping and leakage.
Thanks for taking the time to look Jerel. Think the ones you found might be for the rear diff if one port is larger than the two others. Had to go down to the back 40 anyway so I took a couple of pics of the one on the 4dr. If I can't find might just bush the rear diff one I have.
They both were off the front, one was from a 63 and the other was from a 66. The one has one port smaller than the others while the other is one port larger.
Jim,sure on that 3/16 size? This size is said to be 7/16-20 ......seems too big.....I'm thinking somewhere there's a mistake (better check before buying)
Inline Tube GMTEE02 - GM Brass Brake Hose Tee 1pc.
Brake Hose Tee.This tee is often thrown away with the hose. This tee mounts to the hose. The block slips through the frame bracket and is cliped on the back side of the block. This tee has a special size of 7/16-20 to fit the brake hose, and a slot for the hose clip. No substitution can be made on this part. This solves countless installation problems where the axle lines hook to the original hose. One tee is used per car. This is exact to NOS factory original in every detail except it is a brand new inline tube reproduction. These are sold in catalogs for as much as $18.00 to $24.00 but much lower here.
Applications:

These are the details that separate the first place cars from the rest. Please view my exclusive other e-bay items at my Ebay Store MotorCityMuscleCar or InlineTube.

From a flow standpoint I'd think one side would be bigger than the other 2. The larger one would supply the other 2 smaller ports. However, I'm also finding GM change sizes from year to the next for the same item. And it may not be the line size, it may just be a larger fitting on the same size line.
O.k. This is one of those things that drives a guy nuts!!! Stopped by two Commercial Transport repair shops that I deliver to today and went through about 10 books with no luck !! Carl,I have one of the ones you showed but the shoulder isn't long enough to put a groove and retainer on and still fit through fender. Might just run line through hole and put big rubber grommet in.
I know I still have a couple somewhere put in a place where they can never get lost now I just have to remember where they are. Hopefully can find them tomorrow.
Adapters can be used to adapt standard steel brake lines to the different size ports used in dual master cylinders. The tube O.D. is the outside diameter of the steel brake line. Thread size can be determined by measuring with a U.S. or Metric screw pitch gauge. See Thread Identification
