Found our 67 Beaumont in Gibbons Alberta, It now resides in Bathurst New Brunswick
She is a 73617 Beaumont Custom 2Door Sport Coupe with the A51 Sport Package
Manufactured date was March 23rd 1967, Maroon coloured car in the photo below
Here she is sitting beside her travelling partner, a one owner 1985 GMC Fleet Side 4x4 that I bought new in November 1984.
Neither of them are numbers matching, The Beaumont's 396 turned out to be a 402that had been bore .060 over, no metal left to work with , so a 454 crate was put in.
The Sierra's original 305 was taken out and replaced with a 383 crate engine, 340 hp and 435 ft pds of torque, the 305 is stored under the bench

Just out of curiosity, do people in Bathurst pronouce it Bat-hurst or Bath-urst? An east coast moving company guy said to me over the phone that he was passing through Bat-hurst many years ago. I always thought it was Bath-urst.

With regards to the correct pronunciation, I guess it depends on your how much slang you have in your vocabulary !@@#$
The word and it's origin along with howjsay . com web site pronounces it has Bath-urst. The area has a +/- 40 % Franco phone population, may have something to do with how it is pronounced.
The 454 was purchased as the ZZ 454 short block, typically it would have produced 440 hp with 500 ft pds " if " I would have purchased the whole rotating assembly . However, I did not , rather I installed a cam, lifters, rods, 2.19 / 1.88 valve and rockers all from Comp Cams and some real good flowing 781 Iron Oval ported heads.
The engine dynode at 500 hp @ 5100 and produced 550 ft pds @ 2950 rpm a real nice flat torque curve , it has already destroyed one 10 bolt with 3.08 gears. Since that happened last summer I rebuilt a 1966 12 bolt locking Differential with 3.73's, needed new sides and spiders , and the 10 bolt has been rebuit with 2.73's. In short I have one diff for the highway and one to play with.
Thanks for the comments

When I built my engine, I had my 781 Oval Ports heads which were planned for the reworked 396, however, I already commented on that story.
So , that is why I bought the short block. The ZZ454 crate comes from GM with a hydraulic roller cam with a duration @ 0.50 of 211 intake and 230 exhaust with a lift of 510 intake and 540 exhaust.
The cam I bought through Comp Cam is a XR276HR specs are duration @ .050 of 224 Intake and 230, gross lift was 510 on both intake and exhaust.
