4 and 5 are identical i think 66 as well, some very minor 67 diferences, but will work. any body style, convert is different(boxed), wagons and elcaminos are longer in the rear rails, but will work too.

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
Right on thanks, I knew the converts and wagons were different. I have access to a 68 chevelle and was scheming if that would work or not. I'll keep looking. This project has been put on an extended hold but hopefully will get at it later this year!
68 chevelle frame will definitely not fit. I don't think 66-67 will work either, wheelbases are different. I'm quite sure you're stuck with just 64-65 frames.
Chevelles and Beaumonts share the same frames each year.
64 is stand alone according to the part number
65 and 66 have same part number - difference with 64 is dimple in the front crossmember which allows the removal of a BB starter without lifting engine
67 stand alone part number, difference is where the rear coil spring fits into the upper perch, so have to use 67 tapered coil springs.
For all 4 years the convertible has same dimensions as 2dr coupe and 2dr and 4dr sedan but is boxed in center section to give extra rigidity.
El Camino and station wagon are about 3 inches longer, but the 3 extra inches is behind the body mount which is behind the rear axle so easy to shorten.
EL Camino, like the convertible, is boxed in the center for extra rigidity.
All 4 years and all models are 115 inch wheel base. Body mounting points on all models are located in the same locations ( with the exception of the rear mount on wagons and El Caminos ). Convertibles utilize an extra body mount under the cowl but the hole is there on all frames.
So if you have a 64 hdtp as in your avatar, you're good with a 64, 65 or 66 from any model ( but would have to shorten a wagon or El Camino ). You're also good with a 67 any model ( except wagon or camino which would have to be shortened ) but have to use 67 rear coil springs.

Too bad I've chucked out a couple real good frames here in the last couple years because I didn't have any room for them. One was a 64 and the other a 66. Got a hundred bucks for the 66 with the diff.

Hey thanks, this is great info. sorry I've been off line so long. any leads on a frame are worth following up on.
