Non Canadian question from a Canadian

I am in the process of refurbishing a 1952 National Pontiac ambulance. Was definitely an American car. I have been told the block in Canadian and American cars were different colours. Could someone help in directing me to the proper colour and a source if possible. Thanks in advance.

         What is the colour of the blue engine in it now?

Internet says a 52 National runs a  Chieftain straight 8       So maybes its Green??

I have to check the present colour today but believe it is medium blue. My understanding was it was to be a dark green. Thanks for the posts.

         yes BUT  your car is a Bent 8 Chieftan  not a Straight 8    lol lol lol

The car was redone in the late 80's and now is almost a robins egg blue, which I suspect is not correct.

Just Google 1952 National ambulance and look     they are green
