Seen the above add on Kijiji and just wondering if other than me anyone is interested in the cars? I have only two tiny issues. One don't have 10g's and two don't have room for 3 cars. I am however really interested in the green parts car. I know of enough parts cars in a few obscure wrecking yards that I'm sure I can save it.
Anyone want to go together on this purchase and share the spoils?
I'm with Todd on this one. Unless the driver is absolutely mint, the ten big ones is a pipe dream (in my opinion).
If you live close by, convince him to sell you a parts car, and look it over really well. My thought, anyway :)
Usually these things look better in the pics than in the flesh. Guys aren't tending to sell gems sitting in the bushes. Seems to be a lot of rot out there for big bucks. Still.....if I was an hour or so away....pair of overalls, a hammer for whacking the frames, and a flashlight..... it could be a lot of fun.
Could very well be as the car in the tent and the dark green coupe came from Ontario. If I recall correctly he flew out and drove it back? Looks like it deteriorated some since you sold it Mark.
I Love that picture! I had it done because that Diner used to be in Mahwah,New Jersey.I ate there all the time when I rode with my Dad in the Big Truck.Used to ride with him every summer.I have some old pics of the truckstop but not the Diner.They have some old pictures inside.
If anyone else in Ontario wants to go in I'd love to have the green one with moose dent for a driver; as long as someone has a way to get them to Ontario. If it's solid, and I'm sure someone here can testify to that? Put me in for $2200& $300shipping=$2500 for moose mobile.
Well if Mark's previous car showed the same as in the pictures from in front of the diner I would imagine it should bring in $6-8 g's. But the add picture leaves a totally different mental image. Without seeing the car I'm hesitant to commit to saying it would be close to that. I would truly love to bring back all three cars but I'm sorely lacking space and the $10,000 is above what I could justify.
