apparently someone in North Carolina has the car .....he started restoration a few years back.....has anyone heard
any news on his progress?....surprised GM sold it to the public !

There's a thread on Jalopy Journal about this car. One guy swears he met the guy who had it (and has since died). Sounded like the car was getting a rebody as the original body burned in a fire.. Apparently the car had a lot of gold plated parts.
