 Really.

It does seem like a huge beast. Whole lotta car for the money.

What dealer emblem is on the back?

That's all I really need to fulfill my Canadian Poncho craving. If it weren't too long for my garage I'd seriously consider it.

Yes thats a good deal at that price. A cheap hobby driver that wouldn't shame anyone at a car show. If I only had room to park it!!!
The only Wide-Track Part on a 59 Canadian Poncho is the body!

Looks like a nice car for the money.  If that were closer there's a good chance I would be driving that one home, if it's as good as it looks in the pics.

I like it....PERFECT summertime daily driver....hope the interior is just as decent as the exterior....

Might be interesting to compare specs....but I think it's pretty CLOSE dimensionally....and weight wise..... to ANY 60-64 pontiac or chevvy full size 4 door.....

It's just an X-frame sedan.....with a whole lot of air between the bumpers....

I don't think it would be any bigger than the '60 Chev I used to have.  That car never really seemed huge to drive and visibility was great with all that glass.  The fins and upturned fenders would make it easy to see all 4 corners when backing, etc.

Really like the '59-'60s with the wrap around glass (be careful not to whack your knee getting in) and the low seating position.  The 261 and 3-speed are actually a pretty torquey combination - not a race car but plenty sufficient for keeping up with traffic.  Really, the standard steering was the biggest impediment to driving quickly as there seemed to be a million turns lock to lock - when compared to a modern car.  Would prefer that combination to a 'glide.

I like it a lot, and think it would look great in my driveway!  smile

I've never seen such a solid 1959   Love it  I'd slam it with air ride and some 20's and tint the windows

Best not to compare her to this car, especially the "Wide Track" part of it........ (if you know what's good for you...)

Sounds like you're spending too much time in the tanning booth....biggrin....Be carefull.....it's supposed to cause skin cancer....AND affect your better judgement thought process......

AND....if you did that....you wouldn't have enough friends for all those doors....

The wheels do look ridiculously too small.
