If that car was a 396 or 427 I'd be heading out to bid on it, it just strikes me as the type of car I'd be driving all things being equal if this was 1969. I'd have probably ordered triple black and the 427 but I always liked that car ever since I saw the 1969 brochure car.

This car is a virtual twin to the one I drove one summer, (early 80's maybe, I forget?), then parted out except for mine being a 427 with everything but a tilt and a power antenna. It sure brings back memories seeing this one. I remember having the American Graffiti 8 track pushed into the factory floor mounted tape deck, front seat armrest folded down, cruise engaged, A/C on and floating down the highway with those 2.56 gears keeping the RPM down to almost an idle! Only thing being, mine had green interior instead of gold.
You're right Ray, this car would rank right up there with those D body Fleetwoods you and I were driving until recently.
