Looking good George!!
Have you checked the block deck for true??
I always run a large bastard file diagonally etc. on the deck of cast
iron blocks to check for high (shiny ) and low ( not shiny ) spots.

Thanks
Randy

Hi

I got a 1935 ford V8.

I'm been struggling with carbon build up which also resulted in sticking valves.

I now there general is lot of doubts but I tried Marvel Mystery Oil in my gas with success.

Problem is gone and its running very smoothly and quiet.....

Carl and Pete, you guys are absolutely right. I learned a very long time ago to work to work more with the brain and less with the body and yes she is very very heavy. Cheers. George.

Mike, i appreciate the info but i converted to PERTRONIX electronic conversion about 16 years ago on this engine. I would only recommend the original points to the birds. I have converted every car i have owned for the last 20 years. Cheers. George
